C-MAP/USA’s new PC-Planner NT makes it easier than ever for sailors, powerboaters and fishermen to plan their next voyage right on their home computers, using familiar, high-detail C-MAPNT electronic charts.
Utilizing the same C-MAPNT C-cards you use on your boat, C-MAP’s PC-Planner NT+ lets you quickly and easily display color chart data, create and edit routes, measure distances between ports or points of interest, and much more. You can also save waypoints, marks and routes to your User C-card and transfer them between your PC and C-MAPNT compatible electronic charting system.
Navigators planning with this system will benefit from the wealth of information contained in C-MAP’s electronic charts of coastal, offshore and Super Lakes cruising and fishing destinations. C-MAP NT+ vector-based electronic charts provide vital navigation data such as depth contours, spot soundings, navigation aids, obstacles and hazards, landmarks, and much more, along with the capability to customize how this information is displayed on the chart plotter to suit the navigator’s needs.
In addition, C-MAP NT+ includes Port & Tide Info that arms the navigator with vital data including tidal stage and direction, along with updated location and contact information for marinas, fuel docks, emergency services and more.
The system is designed for easy interfacing with PCs running Windows 9X or NT/2000. Minimum hardware requirements include 8MB RAM (32MB for NT/2000), 4MB available disk space, a VGA display and one available USB port.
