Norcross DF 1000D Features
- The upper and lower alarms have three stages of warnings, when triggered they cannot be overlooked. First, an audible alarm sounds for ten seconds and then mutes, bringing attention to the alarm trigger, but not distracting from operation. At the same time the LCD indicator just above the depth information is blinking continuously and a red LED also blinks continuously to indicate the alarm trigger.
- Algorithmic programming eliminates false readings while producing instant depth readings in 1/10' precision that are updated four times per second, providing accurate depth readings at speeds of up to 63 mph.
- Allows one-touch access to user adjustable units (feet/meters), and the three stage advanced warning system.
- The backlit display uses SoftGlow™, an "EL" lighting source for easy night-time viewing, without the glaring intensity of white or red lights.
- Internal components are sealed by a space age anti-mildew/corrosion coating; protecting them from the harsh marine environment.

Transducer: Ships with Airmar P-23 transom mount transducer. The P-23 is a multiple application sensor. Either transom-mount it using the included integral release bracket and hardware, or it can be glued directly to the inside of the hull. Transom-mount hardware allows for vertical sound beam orientation on hulls with a deadrise of up to 30° and adjusts to transom angles from 3-20°. .The depth sounder's performance at higher speeds in deep water will be reduced by gluing in-hull, but the minimum and maximum depths will not be affected.
